Raider Grapplers Take Second at Capitol Conference Tournament

On February 2nd, the Sugar River Wrestling Team participated in the annual Capitol Conference Tournament at Poynette High School. The Raiders finished second as a team to Lodi, with all participants finishing in the top five. Two Raider Wrestlers won individual championships, Robert Chenoweth at 145 and Danny Enloe at 285.
"Given the unusual circumstances that led up to the tournament, with the snow and cold weather, the team had limited time to practice in preparation for the tournament. However, the effort given on Saturday showed they were ready to go," commented Coach Peter Swenson....
