Lady Knights Lose Close Game to Darlington

The New Glarus girls basketball team played at Darlington on Friday, November 17th. Coach Kim Burton commented, “Despite losing 69-81, the Lady Knights showed a lot of heart and perseverance throughout the game. Darlington came out and played an aggressive 1-3-1 defense, and a very uptempo game and shot an outstanding percentage.”
The Lady Knights were down 30-51 at halftime, but clawed their way back within nine points with four minutes left in the game.
Senior Willow Lee scored a career high 28 points and had nine rebounds while Julia Barnaby scored 21 points and had ten rebounds....
