Head Coach TJ Zweifel had this to say about his team following the game, "These boys accomplished almost every goal they set before the season. We fell just shy of reaching the end-goal and getting to Madison. I'd like to thank the seniors for the past two seasons. 41 wins, 2 conference championships, a regional title, and endless amounts of memories because of the hard-work these 8 boys put in. There is zero doubt that this team gave me 100% effort this season. We lost to a very good team and have nothing to hang our heads about. The accomplishments of this team can go down as the best team in Belleville's boys basketball history."
