"We were short-handed last week, as a good number of our players were out with illness," explained Coach Mark Olson. "We were able to get a win at Juda, and played a competitive 1st half against Shullsburg. Unfortunately, we weren't able to make the adjustments as they went zone in the second half, and we fell too far behind."

Nick Roe led the Ponies with 18 points and 7 assists, while Jackson Eyler scored 13 points and had 6 rebounds, and Alex Roe and Ryer Indergand both scored 11 points, with Roe pulling down 6 rebounds and having 4 assists. Austin Skibbe had 5 rebounds.

Monticello hosts Black Hawk on February 9th, Pecatonica on February 14th and plays at Dodgeville on February 20th.
