Kaden DeSmet scored 15 points to lead the Wildcats in the win over Lancaster.
The Belleville varsity boys basketball team played at Lancaster on December 19th. Up 52-26 at the half, the Wildcats kept their lead and held the Flying Arrows to just 16 points in the second half to secure the win. The final score was Belleville 92, Lancaster 42.
Kaden DeSmet scored 15 points to lead the Wildcats, with 4 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 steal, while Jack Erickson scored 13 points with 1 rebound, 4 assists and 2 steals, Andrew Ace put 12 on the board with 3 rebounds and 2 steals, and DeMarcus Conner scored 11 points with 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals.
The Wildcats hosted Catholic Memorial on December 28th. They will play at Monticello on January 3rd and host Wisconsin Heights on January 6th.
