On November 29th, the Monticello Ponies played at Wisconsin Heights. Down 20-43 at the half, the Ponies had trouble hitting baskets for the rest of the game and lost to the Vanguards. The final score was Wisconsin Heights 67, Monticello 38.

Jumping out to an early 10-2 lead in the first 3 and a half minutes, the Vanguards were up 21-6 after the first 7 and a half minutes of the game, then closed out the half on a 13-2 run to take the lead into halftime. Monticello outscored Wisconsin Heights 10-2 in the final 7 minutes of the game but could not catch up to win.

Ryer Indergand led the Ponies with 17 points and 9 rebounds, while Nick Roe scored 6 points and had 4 rebounds and Austin Skibbe scored 6 points. Zuteus Blades pulled down 7 rebounds, while Alex Roe had 4.

The Ponies fared better against Belmont. Jumping out to a quick 22-7 lead, the Ponies led at the half, 35-19. The Braves got no closer than 17 points in the second half, and the Ponies scored the last 8 points of the game to win it. The final score was Monticello 55, Belmont 30.

Scoring 15 points to lead Monticello was Ryer Indergand, who also had 3 rebounds. Peyton Smith scored 13 points with 4 rebounds, Nick Roe scored 9 points, Jackson Eyler had 8 rebounds and Ian Schwartzlow had 3 rebounds.

Monticello hosted Barneveld on December 6th. They play at Argyle on December 8th, against Chochrane-Fountain City at Just A Game Fieldhouse in Wisconsin Dells on December 10th and at New Glarus on December 13th.
