The Monticello Ponies varsity basketball team played at Parkview on November 22nd. Leading by 8 points at the half, the Ponies won the game. The final score was Monticello 68, Parkview 56.

Parkview scored the first 5 points of the game, but Monticello scored 16 points unanswered to pull ahead in the first half. The Ponies led by as much as 17 points several times in the second half to win the game. Monticello shot 32 for 44 at the line, while Parkview only managed 9 out of 20 attempts.

Leading the Ponies with 27 points and 9 rebounds was Ryer Indergand, while Jackson Eyler scored 13 points and had 7 rebounds, Peyton Smith had 12 points and 9 rebounds and Nick Roe scored 9 points and had 9 rebounds.

The Ponies traveled to Wisconsin Heights on November 29th. They will host Belmont on December 1st and Barneveld on December 6th before hitting the road to Argyle on December 8th.
