Ponies Champs of Richland Center Tournament

The Monticello Ponies varsity volleyball team played Pecatonica. The Ponies won it in three, 25-21, 26-24, 25-15.
"We were down the whole second match and battled back from 18-24 with Dalana Trumpy serving," commented Coach Rebecca Gustafson.
Ellie Gustafson had 24 kills and 13 digs, while Kelsy Grant had 24 assists and 3 aces, and Dalana Trumpy had 3 aces.
On September 3rd, the Ponies attended the Richland Center Invitational and won to become the champs of the tournament.
Against Wisconsin Dells, Monticello won 25-12 and 25-11.
The Ponies won again, vs Platteville, 25-17, 25-19.
