On May 17th, the Belleville Wildcats varsity baseball team played at Monticello/Albany, defeating them 22-1.

Aidan Keyes was 3x3 for Belleville, with 2 runs scored and 3 RBI, while Gavin Boyum was 2x2 with 3 runs scored and 1 RBI. Trevor Syse scored 3 runs, while Ryan Downing, Anthony Nolden, Carson Heller and Devin Frydenlund scored 2 runs apiece and Niles Monroe, Carson Syse, Kaden DeSmet, Logan Derke, Brennan Keyes and Owen Stoikes all scored 1 run each.

Kaden DeSmet and Niles Monroe pitched for the Wildcats, with DeSmet striking out 6 and Monroe striking out 4.

Evan Rufer was 1x2 with 1 run scored for Monticello/Albany. Tyler Anderson and Jacob Letcher each had 1 hit.

Sharing the mound for Monticello/Albany were Andy Gertsch, Leon Parker, Cody Pryce and Carson Gafner. Pryce struck out 3, while Gertsch struck out 1.

On May 21st, the Wildcats played a DH at Johnson Creek and won game one 9-4, and game two 13-6.

In game one, Devin Frydenlund was 2x3 with 2 runs scored, while Carson Syse was 2x4 with 1 run scored and 2 RBI and Trevor Syse was 1x2 with 2 runs scored and 1 RBI. Aidan Keyes scored 2 runs, and Anthony Nolden and Carson Heller each scored once.

Carson Syse and Aidan Keyes pitched for the Wildcats, with Syse striking out 7.

In game two, Trevor Syse was 2x5 with 2 runs scored and 5 RBI, while Kaden DeSmet was 1x1 with 1 run scored and Owen Stoikes was 1x3 with 2 runs scored. Ryan Downing scored 3 runs, while Jakob Shemanski scored 2 runs and Niles Monroe, Carson Heller and Carson Syse each scored 1 run.

Kaden DeSmet, Brett Olsen and Devin Frydenlund pitched for Belleville, with DeSmet striking out 2.

The Wildcats will play a Regional game against Monticello/Albany at home on May 26th and if they advance, they will host a Regional game at home on May 31st.
