Leonard Dominates at State Greco Competition

Eli Leonard, 16u, 145#, dominated his 16-man bracket in State Greco competition this past Sunday. He went 4-0 for the day, pinning 2 opponents and Tech falls on the other 2 NOT ALLOWING a point scored on him entire day. Congrats to Eli as he's taking 1st in WWF Folkstyle, 2nd in Freestyle, and 1st in Greco all in a matter of 4 weeks! Eli wrestles with Sarbacker Wrestling Academy. Eli Leonard placed 7th in his 32-man Freestyle bracket in 15u, 62 kg., at the U.S. Open in Las Vegas, qualifying him for Pan Am trials in August. Went 4-2 over 2 days of wrestling nationwide competition.

Eli Leonard took 2nd place at 145#, 16u division, over this past weekend in Wisconsin Dells. He went 5-1 in his 32-man bracket for the day. Caleb Cady, freshman from AWA in Pewaukee, was Champion for the group.
