The Regional Final game was played in New Glarus on February 25th against Mineral Point, who, as you may recall, knocked New Glarus out of the playoffs last year and became the state champion. The Lady Knights have put in the work this year to improve their game both offensively and defensively and it showed on this night. After an exciting first half, New Glarus was ahead 27-16. At the end of the second half, New Glarus avenged their loss last year with a big win and a score of 63-43. If you're currently experiencing déjà vu reading that score, that's because last year, when Mineral Point beat New Glarus, the score was, that's right, 63-43.

Lindsey Schadewalt scored 31 points to lead New Glarus, while Alex Atwell put 16 on the board and Bella Brenkman and Payton Schneider each scored 4 points.

The Lady Knights will play #2 Cuba City at Dodgeville on Thursday, March 2nd, at 7:00 p.m. A win will advance them to the Sectional Championship game on March 4th, in Wisconsin Dells, against the winner of the #1 Aquinas vs #2 Bangor game.
