The Belleville Wildcats varsity baseball team hosted Dodgeville on Monday, May 2nd. Despite outhitting the Dodgers nine to seven, the Wildcats lost 0-4.
Ryan Downing, Trevor Syse, Aidan Keyes and Gavin Boyum all recorded 2 hits during the game, while Carson Syse had 1 hit.
Kaden DeSmet pitched for 4 innings, striking out 4, and Devin Frydenlund pitched 3 innings striking out 1.
On May 4th, the Wildcats played at Wisconsin Heights. Belleville took an early lead which was quickly erased by the Vanguards in the 4th inning. The Wildcats battled back in the 5th to once again take the lead but...
