The New Glarus varsity girls basketball team played at Lancaster on December 13th. Down at the half 21-32, the Lady Knights battled in the second half to try to overcome Lancaster but were not successful. The final score was Lancaster 55, New Glarus 39.

The Knights were led in scoring by Lindsey Schadewalt with 18 points, she also had 2 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 steals and 1 block. Alex Atwell scored 7 points and had 8 rebounds, 1 assist, 2 steals and 1 block and Elle Lancaster and Peyton Yaun each scored 5 points. Lancaster had 1 rebound, 3 assists and 1 steal while Yaun had 4 rebounds.

On December 20th, New Glarus hosted Mineral Point. They will play in the Dodgeville Tournament on December 27th and 28th, and host Platteville on January 4th.
