After a night of some lopsided victories, only two teams remain undefeated, Kleeman’s Hay Shakers and the Starlight Express. In the match between Kleeman’s and the Norsk Cowboys, Hay Shakers Jeff and Jerry Judd confiscated 112 bales of hay from the Cowboys. Cowboys Roger Olstad and Harold Schlimgen only placed 69 bales in the Cowboy’s mow (this week’s low score). The Hay Shakers easily had a 53 bale advantage in the end. Whereas, the Starlight Express found the light at the end of the tunnel extremely bright when Shawn Farrell and John Scheidegger generated 110 watts of juice to out produce the J&M Bar River Rats by 52 watts. These were two strong wins for two teams that remain tied for first place.

However, the biggest score differential of the night came in the match between Jones’ Plumbing and the Walk-On Trolls. With the 114-feet of pipe buried by plumbers Jerome Krantz and Scott Prohaska, Jones’ Plumbing quickly flushed the Trolls down the river by a good 60-feet.

The Norsk Pranksters were able to pull a rabbit out of the hat once again with their 15-point win over the undefeated Shufflers. With their 111 points, Stan Hook and Randy Skogen were the only Shufflers not tripping over their own feet at the finish line. With this win, the Pranksters duped their way into a 3rd place tie with the Shufflers.

The Cheese Eaters, looking for their first win, traveled to the Red Mouse in Pine Bluff to take on the also winless Mounties. After two straight weeks of recording the low score for the league, Mountie Bruce Milestone, with the help of his partner Dan Meinholz, broke that streak. They scored 118 points for this week’s high score and thereby helped put a tick mark in the win column for the Mounties. Bruce is hoping this is the beginning of a new high score and win streak. Kendal Wagner and Jeff Buesser lead the hunt for the Sportsman’s Bar, bagging 113 birds for the team. But the Mounties, with pen in hand, wrote citations that took 31 birds away for a Mountie win.
