The Monroe-New Glarus Cheesemakers competed at the Badger Conference swim meet on October 30th in McFarland. The Varsity team placed 5th behind Edgewood, McFarland, Baraboo and Sauk Prairie and ahead of Oregon, Lodi Heights and Portage. JV placed 6th at the meet behind Edgewood, McFarland, Sauk Prairie, Baraboo and Lodi Heights.

In the 200Y Medley Relay, the team of Morgan Erstad, Karley Michels, Mazie Paradis and Riley Hoesly finished 5th, with a time of 1:56.27, while the team of Samantha Schiro, Elsa Schaefer, Peyton Yaun and Danika Doll finished 11th with a time of 2:08.21.

In the 200Y Freestyle, Delaney Lynch finished 13th with a time of 2:10.62, while Taylor Rufer finished 19th with a time of 2:24.07 and Kristina Foley placed 22nd with a time of 2:26.60.

In the 200Y IM, Elsa Schaefer finished 10th with a time of 2:32.11, while Peyton Yaun finished 13th with a time of 2:34.97.

In the 50Y Freestyle, Mazie Paradis placed 2nd with a time of 24.77, while Samantha Schiro placed 20th with a time of 28.54 and Danika Doll finished 23rd with a time of 29.60.

In the 100Y Butterfly, Mazie Paradis finished 4th with a time of 1:00.50, while Samantha Schiro finished 11th with a time of 1:09.12.

In the 100Y Freestyle, Riley Hoesly placed 6th with a time of 58.45, while Danika Doll finished 19th with a time of 1:06.59 and Kristina Foley placed 23rd with a time of 1:08.89.

In the 500Y Freestyle, Delaney Lynch finished 9th with a time of 5:51.98.

In the 200Y Freestyle Relay, the team of Morgan Erstad, Karley Michels, Samantha Schiro and Delaney Lynch finished 6th with a time of 1:51.51. Placing 13th was the team of Peyton Yaun, Elsa Schaefer, Emma Tran and Kristina Foley, with a time of 2:06.90.

In the 100Y Backstroke, Morgan Erstad finished 7th with a time of 1:03.95, while Riley Hoesly placed 11th with a time of 1:07.72 and Taylor Rufer finished 17th with a time of 1:11.73.

In the 100Y Breaststroke, Karley Michels finished 4th with a time of 1:12.35, while Elsa Schaefer finished 12th with a time of 1:17.48, Peyton Yaun placed 14th with a time of 1:18.38 and Emma Tran finished 17th with a time of 1:25.75.

In the 400Y Freestyle Relay, the team of Riley Hoesly, Morgan Erstad, Delaney Lynch and Mazie Paradis placed 7th with a time of 3:54.24, while the team of Taylor Rufer, Danika Doll, Karley Michels and Kristina Foley finished 13th with a time of 4:28.53.

The Sectional meet will be held on Saturday, November 6th, at DeForest High School. The meet begins at 1:00 p.m.
