Monticello Girls Volleyball are Regional Champions following their win over Hustisford. The Lady Ponies went undefeated in the regular season and will host Central Christian on October 28, in the first round of Sectionals. The Monticello Varsity volleyball team, who was seeded #1 for the WIAA Division 4 Regionals, defeated #8 seeded Fall River on October 21st in three, 25-10; 25-19; 25-14. No further information was provided by press time.
The win against Fall River advanced the Lady Ponies to round two, against #4 seeded Hustisford. Monticello won in three, 25-15; 25-22; 25-19.
Hannah Clark had 10 digs, 5 kills and 7 blocks, while Ellie Gustafson had 23 kills and 8 digs and Jaden Zuber had 3 aces and 7 digs.
On October 28th, Monticello will host #2 seeded Central Christian for the first round of Sectionals...
