New Glarus Volleyball Closes Out Regular Season With Two Wins

On October 12th, the New Glarus Varsity volleyball team defeated the Wisconsin Heights Vanguards 3-1, 12-25; 28-26; 25-23; 26-24.
Team leaders included Grace Nommensen, with 14 kills, 19 assists and 9 digs, Lindsey Schadewalt with 10 kills, 16 assists and 5 digs, Emma Marty with 18 digs and 3 aces and Amber Horn with 9 kills and 3 solo blocks.
On October 14th, the Lady Knights won over Marshall in four sets, 25-21; 26-24; 21-25; 25-17.
Grace Nommensen had 11 kills, 15 assists, 14 digs and 3 aces, while Lindsey Schadewalt had 8 kills and 14 assists, Amber Horn had 10 kills, 10 digs and 4 aces and Ellie Eichelkraut had 6 kills and 5 aces.
New Glarus is seeded #4 for the WIAA Division 3 Regionals, and hosted #13 Iowa-Grant on October 19th. The winner goes on to play the winner of the #5 Mineral Point vs #12 Parkview game on October 21st.
