Wildcats Win Over Cambridge and Heights

Belleville's Sean Hagen (#11) scored 12 points in the win at Wisconsin Heights.

The Belleville Wildcats boys basketball team played at Cambridge on Friday, February 18th. With a commanding 33-18 lead at the half, the Wildcats went on to win it 67-59.

Leading Belleville with 25 points was Trevor Syse, while Carson Syse scored 14 points and Sawyer Fahey scored 11 points.

On February 22nd, the Wildcats played at Wisconsin Heights. Leading by 6 at the half, the Wildcats won the game. The final score was Belleville 67, Wisconsin Heights 63.

With 24 points, which included seven 3-pointers, Kody Fahey led Belleville in scoring. Trevor Syse scored 13 points and Sean Hagen scored 12 points.

The boys hosted Pardeeville on February 24th and will host Waterloo on February 27th. As of press time, they are sitting at 3rd place in the Capitol South. The first round of Division 4 WIAA Regionals begins on March 3rd at 7:00 p.m. Belleville, who is seeded #7, will be hosting #10 seeded Necedah. Should Belleville win, they will play at #2 Darlington on Friday, March 6th.
