Lady Knights Suffer Tough Losses Last Week

The New Glarus Lady Knights hosted Fall River on February 3rd. Down by 9 at the half, New Glarus lost some momentum in the second half and lost the game. The final score was Fall River 57, New Glarus 38.
Leading New Glarus with 16 points was Jaylynn Benson, while Dylan Noll and Ellie Eichelkraut each scored 5 points.
On February 8th, the team hosted Appleton North. Trailing 19-36 at the half, New Glarus outscored the visitors in the second half but it was not enough to win. New Glarus lost, 47-62.
Emma Marty led New Glarus with 11 points, while Jaylynn Benson scored 10 points and Lily Himmelmann scored 8 points.
The Lady Knights played at Marshall on February 11th and will host Waterloo on February 14th before heading south to face Monticello on February 17th. They currently have a record of 9-9 overall, and are in a three-way tie for 3rd place in the Cap South with Wisconsin Heights and Belleville, with a conference record of 3-4.
