Wildcats Clip Bluejays' Wings

The seniors on Belleville's boys basketball team gathered for a photo on Senior Night, January 24th. From left: Royce Clark, Brody Duerst, Sean Hagen, Kody Fahey, Mitchell Mussehl, Jakson Trainor, Ogden York and Mason Cribben.

The Belleville Wildcats hosted Cambridge on Friday night, January 24th, handing the second place Capitol South team their first conference loss this season. Up by a single point at the half, the Wildcats outscored Cambridge in double digits in the second half to win the game. The final score was Belleville 77, Cambridge 54.

Leading the way for Belleville with 24 points was Carson Syse, while Trevor Syse scored 20 points and Kody Fahey put 13 points on the board.

The Wildcats, who are 7-4 overall and 1-2 in conference play, played at Brodhead on January 28th and will host Wisconsin Heights on January 30th and Black Hawk on February 1st.
