The Cheesemakers co-op hockey team celebrated senior night at their win against Milton. From left: Luke Kuberski, Argyle, Jared Dillon, Monroe, Kaiden Klitzke, Monroe, Heath Bear, Monroe, Seth Lindsay, Monroe, Payton Stauffacher, Monroe, and Ty O'Connor, Orangeville, IL.
The Monroe Cheesemakers co-op hockey team played against Milton at the Mandt Hockey Arena in Stoughton on January 3rd. Tied at 2 by the end of the first, the Cheesemakers scored 3 goals in the third to win it. The final score was Monroe 5, Milton 2.
Goals in the first period were scored by Hayden Roth assisted by Roman Bauer and Blaze Janecke and Payton Stauffacher on a power play assisted by Roth and Janecke.
In the third period goals were scored by Stauffacher assisted by Jared Dillon and Cade Janecke, Ryan Molitor assisted by Luke Kuberski and Josh Haight and Cade Janecke.
