The Monticello Lady Ponies played host to Barneveld on December 17th. Behind by 7 points at the half, the Ponies battled back and outscored the Lady Eagles during the second half but couldn’t overcome the first half deficit. The final score was Monticello 41, Barneveld 44.

Harley Disch scored 13 points to lead the Ponies, while Mackie Errthum scored 10 points and Miah Brokopp scored 6 points.

The game that was to be played against Pecatonica on December 20th was postponed until January 27th. The Ponies will host Belleville on January 3rd, play at Juda on January 7th and host Orangeville on January 11th.
