The Belleville Wildcat Cross Country team ran at Albany on Saturday. Despite the rain the day before, the course was manageable, although changed to avoid certain areas of the property. In a nutshell, the hill course was hillier.

The girls team ran strong races and were led by freshman Lainey Winkers, who was recognized for her 14th place finish with a time of 22:10; she was followed by Gina Salmela with a time of 25:45.

The boys team was led by sophomore Jordan Wilder, who finished in 22nd place with a time of 19:13. He was followed by Sean Campbell (19:24) and Matthew Loshaw (19:47).
