Ponies Lose to Barneveld

On Monday, April 15th, the Monticello/Albany Ponies baseball team played at Barneveld and lost 0-12 in 5 innings.
On April 16th the Ponies hosted Argyle. In the 5th inning, the Ponies were ahead by 2 runs, but Argyle tied it up in the 6th and scored a run in the 7th to win the game by 1 point. The final score was Monticello/Albany 4, Argyle 5.
The Ponies are quite busy this week. They played a make-up double header against Belmont on April 22nd, and they hosted Belleville on April 23rd, will play at Black Hawk for a make-up game on April 25th and on Friday, April 26th, they play a double header at River Ridge.
