September 6, 2018

The Monroe-New Glarus co-op swim team swam in McFarland on August 28th. The JV team lost, 62-79, and the Varsity team lost 55-115.

“The girls knew it was going to be a tough meet, and it was. I know they are disappointed because some of their swims were a little off, but it is that high expectation that they hold for themselves that will push them to work even harder. Edgewood and McFarland, the two power houses of Badger South, tied for 1st place with a score of 158. MNG came in third with a score of 114. That is our best place finish in several years. They were determined, and because it was a different format the girls felt less pressure and just gave a 100% together as a relay.
