The Monticello Ponies played a WIAA Regional game against the Trailways East conference team Beaver Dam Wayland Academy on Tuesday, February 27th. The Ponies were seeded #8 coming into the game, while the Big Red were seeded #9. The Ponies were down by just 5 points at the half, after leading with 3 minutes left but Wayland went on a 10-0 run to take the halftime lead.
