The New Glarus Knights won the Division 4 Regional Final Game on Saturday, March 3, 2018, after defeating the Ledgers of St. Mary's Springs Academy, Fond du Lac, 76-76. The Knights had a bye for the first round of Regionals last week. On Friday, March 2, 2018, the Knights hosted the Wildcats from Belleville, coming away with a 85-62 win. The first game of Sectional Competition will be held on Thursday, March 8, at 7:00 p.m. in Oconomowoc, where the Knights will go up against the Bulldogs of Pardeeville. The New Glarus Knights boys basketball team hosted a standing room only WIAA Regional game against the Belleville Wildcats on Friday, March 2nd. Having played Belleville twice already during the season and winning both times, New Glarus fans may have thought this would be an easy win for the undefeated Knights. The Wildcats brought their A game however, and forced the Knights to play hard to get their win.
