Wildcats Defeat Waterloo by a Single Point

The Belleville Wildcats boys basketball team played three games last week.
On Thursday, February 8th, the team traveled south on Highway 69 to face the Monticello Ponies.
Leading by 8 at the half, the Wildcats probably thought they could easily beat the Ponies. The Ponies felt otherwise. Monticello's Reece Rufer hit two 3-point shots in less than a minute to close the gap to 3 in the final seconds of the game, but the Wildcats sunk two free throws to pull ahead and win by 2. The final score was Belleville 52, Monticello 50.
