The Avalanche co-op hockey team hosted Oregon on January 16th and were shut out by the visitors, 0-5.
Goalie Heath Bear had 22 saves.
On January 19th, the Avalanche headed to McFarland. The Avalanche refused to give up, but still lost, 7-3.
Luke Kuberski scored the first goal for Monroe in the second period, which was followed by their second goal a little over a minute later, by Colton O’Connor, assisted by Travis Edmunds. The Avalanche would score only once more, on a power play by Ryan Molitor, assisted by Roman Bauer and Colton O’Connor.
Heath Bear racked up 35 saves at Goalie.
