The Monroe Avalanche Co-op hockey team hosted Chequamegon on Saturday, December 30th, losing 3-4 in overtime.

Monroe was the first to score on short handed play. Hayden Roth, assisted by Cade Janecke, scored the goal. In the second period, Chequamegon scored and shortly after, Seth Lindsay, assisted by Riley Jones, scored the second goal for Monroe. Chequamegon would score twice more in the second period. Monroe’s Seth Lindsay, assisted by Riley Jones and Charlie Harris, scored in the third period to tie it up at 3-3, however Chequamegon came out ahead by scoring in overtime.
