The Monroe Avalanche co-op hockey team hosted McFarland on Friday night, December 15th, losing 1-5.
The Avalanche tied the game up in the first period when Luke Kuberski, assisted by Connor Nafzger and Cooper Dreyfus, hit the back of the net. McFarland scored three times in the second and once in the third to secure their win.
Goalie Heath Bear had a total of 41 saves.
On Saturday night, Monroe hosted Viroqua and lost 3-5.
