In a back and forth match between the Norsk Cowboys and the J&M Bar River-Rats, the Cowboys were eventually able to trap the Rats 34 morsels short. However, Gene Miller and Jack Gehin (Rats) did a little damage of their own when they handed Harold Schlimgen and Dave Wilborn their only loss of the night, a 3 in the fifth frame.

The Norsk Pranksters (previously Shenanigans) added a few holes of their own to the S’wisco Taphaus’ block of Swiss cheese when Captain Chris Hook and Richard Losenegger skunked Giff Hoesly and Kendal Wenger. This is the second skunk for Giff in as many weeks. By nights end, the Pranksters were able to secure their first win, bagging 27 more points than the winless Cheese-Eaters.

In Blue Mounds, it took all the tools Jones’ Plumbing could carry into Hooterville to loosen enough couplings on the Express to enable the Pipe-Benders to twist 52 points past the not so fast Express. The force of the pressure released from John Scheidegger and Tracy Haag’s line propelled them into the caboose with only 69 psi left in their tank, this week’s low score. Whereas, Shawn Farrell and Steve Hoffmaster were able to generate 116 psi for the Express, this week’s high score.

With the second highest score for the week of 112 points, Neal Fargo and new comer Mike O’Brien glided the Screaming Eagles 43 points past the 5th Quarter-Shufflers. The Shufflers lead for the first two frames but were quickly snatched and devoured by the Eagles. With two couples from Kleeman’s, Jeff Goebler, Jeff Judd, Jerry Judd and Rick Skindrud, also reaching 112 points, the Hay-Shakers easily shook a win out of It’s Time Pub & Grill, defeating the Mounties by 62 points.

I’ve been informed that Shenanigans (now the Norsk-Pranksters) and Eagle Heights will play all their remaining home games at the Norsk Golf Club.
