NGM Wins in Nail-Biter 29-28 Over Mauston

The NGM Knights took on the Golden Eagles of Mauston last Friday night, and won 29-28. Pictured is Luke Judd, who scored the two-point conversion after a pass from Jared Carney.

During the back and forth game between New Glarus-Monticello and Mauston on Friday night, the Knights fought back from a deficit three different times to pull out the almost-last second win on a two-point conversion scored by sophomore Luke Judd. The final score of the game was New Glarus-Monticello 29, Mauston 28.

The Knights took an early 7-0 lead, on a 15-yard touchdown pass from Jared Carney to Cullen Brooks. Trent Sigafus kicked the extra point.

In the second quarter, Mauston scored two touchdowns to make the score 14-7 in favor of Mauston at halftime.
