Ponies Lose to Black Hawk and Argyle

The Monticello volleyball team began conference play on Tuesday, August 29th, playing at Black Hawk. The Ponies lost all three sets, 17-25, 18-25, 11-25.
Abby Wicker and Hannah Zanow led the team in kills and Wicker had four blocks, while Miah Brokopp led the team in assists.
On Thursday, the Ponies hosted what Coach Scott Smice called, "A very good Argyle team." Monticello lost all three sets to the Orioles.
Abby Wicker and Hannah Zanow led the team in kills, and Miah Brokopp had 17 assists. On Tuesday, September 5th, the team traveled to Albany. They will host Barneveld on September 7th, and on Saturday, September 9th, the team will travel to Brodhead for a tournament.
