New Glarus Plays at Monroe Tournament

The New Glarus volleyball team played at the Monroe Tournament on Saturday, August 26th. They went 0-5 overall.
“Great competition at this tournament,” commented Coach Jenna Piche.
Against Wisconsin Heights, New Glarus was 18-25 and 16-25, against Luther Prep they were 16-25, 9-25, against Monroe they were 16-25, 21-25, against Verona they were 12-25, 8-25, and against Mount Horeb they were 10-25, 8-25.
Willow Lee led New Glarus with 10 kills and 22 digs while Julia Barnaby had eight kills and 11 blocks. Jada Malaise had three aces. Riley Parker had 16 assists. Brooke Watrud had 11 digs.
The team hosts Marshall at 6:30 p.m., in the New Glarus High School gym, on Thursday, and will play at Waterloo on September 5th.
