Knights Lose Hard Fought Game to L-Cats

The New Glarus-Monticello Knights traveled to Lake Mills on Friday night to take on the L-Cats.
The teams were evenly matched in the first half. NGM's Zach Feller returned the opening kickoff for 88 yards for a touchdown. Lake Mills then answered with a TD of their own. Tanner Jelle scored the second TD for the Knights, with a one-yard run. Lake Mills scored two more touchdowns before NGM's Jelle took it in the end zone with a seven-yard run. The score at half time was tied at 21.
The L-Cats dominated the second half by scoring 21 unanswered points.
