On May 4th, the Monticello Ponies baseball team played against Argyle, losing 4-6, in a game Coach Scott Smice described as “a good game by both teams.”

“Travis McCoy pitched another great game,” said Smice.

On May 5th, the Ponies hosted a DH against Highland. They lost game one, 1-11, and lost game two 3-14 to a team Smice called, “a very good Highland team.”

On May 8th the Ponies played at Black Hawk and they hosted Pecatonica on May 9th. They will play at River Ridge on May 12th.
