The New Glarus baseball team played at Marshall on May 5th, winning 7-1.

The Knights jumped out to an early lead by scoring a run during their first at bat. They went on to score another run in the third, three in the fifth and two in the seventh, while Marshall’s lone run was scored in the fourth.

Dalton Way, Noah Zimmerman, Andrew Nimtz and Alex Goecke were all 1-2 at bat. Way and Zimmerman both scored two runs, while Nimtz and Goecke scored one run apiece. Josh Gray scored one run.

Andrew Nimtz struck out six on the mound for New Glarus.

On May 9th the team played against Wisconsin Heights, and will play a Double Header at Waterloo on May 13th.
