Sugar River Raiders on a Roll

The Sugar River Raiders girls' soccer team is currently on a roll. The girls have won six of their last seven games, including teams from their conference and in their regional.
The Raiders hosted the McFarland Spartans on Monday, April 17th. The Raiders were led by Captain Kalin O'Rourke, who scored all four of the team's goals. The Raiders defeated McFarland, 4-1.
The Raiders played conference rival Cambridge-Deerfield United on Tuesday, April 18th. The Raiders were again led by Kalin O'Rourke, who scored two of the team's six goals. They won, 6-0.
Next week, the Raiders host another conference matchup against Wisconsin Heights on Tuesday, May 2nd, and travel to Stoughton to play the Vikings on Thursday, May 4th. The game against Wisconsin Heights is Teacher Appreciation Night. The players and managers each nominated a teacher that has positively impacted their lives.
