On April 17th, the New Glarus softball team hosted Monticello, winning 17-8.

Monticello came out swinging and scored three runs in the first inning, and New Glarus answered with five runs of their own in the bottom of the first. Both teams scored twice in the second inning. The Ponies put three players across the plate in the fourth inning, and New Glarus then scored four runs. It was shaping up to be an exciting game, but then New Glarus ran away with it and scored five more runs in the last two innings. No other information was furnished.
