The Sugar River Raiders kicked off their regular season with an away game against the DeForest Norskies. The first half was a rough start for the Raiders, trailing 3-0 at halftime. The Raiders picked up their offense in the second half, but it proved to be too late. The Raiders fell to the Norskies 3-2, with both of the Raiders' goals coming from senior Esther Noriega.

The Raiders hosted their annual Raider Invite on Saturday, April 8th. In their first game, the Lady Raiders defeated Beaver Dam, 4-0. Sophomores Ellawyn Fong and Julia McNamar scored one goal each, while junior Kalin O'Rourke scored two goals.

After the decisive victory over Beaver Dam, the Raiders earned a spot to play in the championship game against La Crosse Aquinas. The Raiders won 1-0, with the goal scored by sophomore Sydney Gentilli.

Come cheer on the girls next week as they host McFarland on Monday, April 17th, Cambridge-Deerfield on Tuesday, April 18th, and travel to Watertown Luther Prep on Thursday.
