Raider Wrestling Awards Presented at Annual Banquet

The Sugar River Raider Wrestlers held their annual awards banquet on Tuesday, March 7th.  John Chenoweth (left) won Team MVP, Trevor Enloe (center) won Most Improved and Max Gerner (right) won Hardest Worker.  

On Tuesday, March 7th, Coach Pete Swenson hosted the 2016-2017 Raider Wrestling Season Awards Banquet.  There was a lot to celebrate, including a Dual Meet Conference Championship (for the second year in a row), a second place finish in the combined Capitol North and South Conference Tournament, an Individual Conference Champion (with three others taking second), The Conference Wrestler of the Year, five wrestlers finishing in the top three at Regionals, and two wrestlers making it on to Sectionals.  It was a great season and the future looks bright for Raider Wrestling. 

Many awards were presented with the top three being Team MVP, Most Improved, and Hardest Worker.  John Chenoweth won Team MVP, Trevor Enloe won Most Improved, and Max Gerner won Hardest Worker.
