The 2017 State Bantam 3A Hockey Tournament was held March 4-5. The Avalanche Bantam A represented Region 4 in the tournament. The Avalanche got off to a slow start against Oshkosh and were down 2-0 at the end of the second period. Tessa Janecke, on passes from Hayden Roth and Haley Knauf, found the back of the net at the top of the third. Two minutes later Cade Janecke lit the lamp with assists from Cooper Dreyfus and Ryan Molitor.
