Wildcats Suffer Tough Road Losses

In a non-conference game at Lakeside Lutheran on January 3rd, the Belleville Wildcats boys basketball team lost, despite only trailing by 6 points at the half. The final score was Lakeside Lutheran 63, Belleville 43.
"I thought defensively we competed at a very high level against Lakeside," said Coach Jarod Wichser. "We held DeNoyer to only 5 points and kept Kuepers well below his average. They had a few of their bigs hit some shots for them at crucial moments. We knew they were a good offensive rebounding team going in and we weren't able to keep them off of the offensive glass."
