New Glarus Girls Win Two on the Road

On November 29th, the New Glarus Girls basketball team played at Albany, winning 49-36. They led at halftime 21-15 and worked hard to keep the lead and win the game.
Willow Lee led the team with 12 points, nine rebounds and three steals. Devon Boll scored 10 points and had four rebounds and three steals. Julia Barnaby put 9 points on the board and had seven rebounds and five assists.
On December 1st, the team traveled to Columbus where, despite trailing by one point at halftime, 19-20, they pulled out a two-point win. The final score was New Glarus 48, Columbus 46.
Junior Willow Lee led the team with 16 points and six rebounds. Lexi Krause, a sophomore, scored 12 points and had five rebounds. Junior Julia Barnaby scored 8 points and had nine rebounds.
The team will play their next two games at home. They took on Dodgeville on December 6th, and face Lake Mills on December 9th. The team has an overall record of 3-2.
