Ponies Lose Thriller to Eagles

The Ponies volleyball team took on Barneveld on September 20th, and ended up going five sets in what Coach Scott Smice called a “thriller.” Unfortunately, Monticello came out on the losing end.

Thursday, September 22nd was Parent’s Night, and the Ponies dropped their home match against Juda in three straight sets.

“Courtney Kammes had a monster match, recording a team high 10 kills and 5 blocks, and Abby Wicker had 6 kills and 3 blocks,” said Smice.

September 29th is Senior Night, and the Ponies will play Pecatonica at home, starting at 6:00 p.m.

Smice invites everyone to “come out and support the volleyball team and the seven seniors who will be honored this night.”
