The friendly rivalry between the New Glarus/Monticello and Belleville football teams has existed for decades. In the most recent game between the two, Belleville hosted New Glarus/Monticello last Friday night. The Knights won the game, 42-7.
The first quarter ended in a 0-0 tie. Early on in the second quarter Belleville's Cade Martin ran the ball in for a touchdown. Cody McMillan's extra point attempt was good.
