The Columbus Cardinals beat the Belleville Wildcats in last Friday’s football game, by a final score of 56-18.

Columbus came out on the field looking strong, and by the end of the first quarter were up 35-0. Belleville’s Cade Martin scored the first touchdown for the Wildcats in the second quarter, but the two point conversion was unsuccessful. The halftime score was 56-6.

Martin scored again in the third quarter, but the extra point was unsuccessful.

Freshman QB Michael Bracken passed to Dalton Fahey for a fourth quarter touchdown and again, the extra point was unsuccessful.
