New Glarus Featured as TDS Little League Game of the Week

The Mallards and TDS are excited to announce the return of the TDS Little League Game of the Week.
On July 11th, the TDS Little League Game of the Week brought us to New Glarus, Wisconsin, where the New Glarus Red Knights faced the Argyle Orioles. It was a battle of the bats as both teams showed off their excellent hitting skills. They finished four innings in an hour and a half.
The Mallards and TDS worked together to make it seem like the game was actually taking place at the Duck Pond. The Mallards Marketing Staff was on hand and fans were able to participate in promotions including the Healthy Snack Race, Ribbon Dancing, Human Bowling, and the University Book Store's Oversized Clothes Race. Additionally, walk up music was played as each player came up to bat, and they were also announced with their nickname. The players and fans were also able to interact with Maynard and Clicky throughout the whole game, adding to the Mallards' like feel of the game.
When asked after the game what their favorite part of the night was, David "Cheesecake" Wills, one of the players from Argyle, said, "For me it was making that amazing catch at second base, and it was really cool to meet the Mallards' mascots." Mad Max Marty, a player from New Glarus, said his favorite part was, "probably when I scored, and it was really awesome when I struck out three in a row."
TDS will sponsor the series, which will be featured in seven cities including New Glarus, Monroe, Waunakee, Verona, Black Earth, Cross Plains and Middleton.
