Belleville’s baseball team traveled to Watertown on April 18th to face Luther Prep. Despite jumping out to an early lead, Belleville lost the game, 2-5.

Belleville was first to score in the first inning. Luther Prep came back with three runs in the third and two in the fifth. Belleville scored one in the seventh, but it was not enough for the win.

Derek Baumgartner struck out three batters and had 20 first pitch strikes.

Cash Hoffman had one hit, and one walk. Drew Shrader had one RBI.
